A Slight Delay, But Full Speed Ahead!

Hey everyone!

We wanted to share an important update on the CausePlay ambulance and our journey to bringing this mobile maker space to life. As you know, we’ve been hard at work transforming this former emergency vehicle into a fully equipped cosplay repair and fabrication workshop on wheels.

The good news? The ambulance is officially at the shop for its much-needed paint job and mechanical tune-up!

The challenge? The timeline is a little longer than expected, meaning it won’t be fully ready in time for WonderCon 2025. While we were excited about debuting the CausePlay ambulance as an official cosplay repair station at the convention, we’re working on an alternative plan to still provide support for cosplayers in need of quick fixes.

What’s Next?

Even with this delay, we’re not slowing down. Here’s what’s happening:

🚀 The ambulance is getting a fresh new look and full servicing to ensure it’s road-ready.

🛠 We’re exploring ways to set up a cosplay repair station at WonderCon, even without the vehicle.

💡 The Kickstarter is moving forward to help fund the build-out, equipment, and future convention appearances.

While we would’ve loved to roll into WonderCon with the finished vehicle, this project is all about creating something sustainable and lasting—so we’re taking the time to get everything done right instead of rushing it.
